For most of these, I used the manual scan available from https://macintoshgarden.org/games/the-ancient-art-of-war-at-sea. Unfortunately, some of these pages are cut off at the bottom in this scan. This is the only scan I've seen online of the Mac manual. However, it looks like for other versions, the only thing that's different is Book I; Books II-IV are the same. So for cases where I couldn't read the word in the scan of the Mac manual (fortunately none of these were in Book I), I used the Apple II manual from https://archive.org/details/The_Ancient_Art_Of_War_At_Sea_Manual/.
