Ports (when setting up Hotline from behind a firewall) Hotline uses: 5498 (tcp) to list Servers from the Client 5499 (udp) to list Servers on Trackers 5500 (tcp) for Client-Server transactions 5501 (tcp) for Client-Server transactions Hotline = FTP with extensions on different ports Server Port When starting the Server from my own machine using IP 127.0.0.1, I get the message "Remote host has refused connection." Be sure that the Server running on your own local machine. If changed the default server port from 5500 to something else you must add colon (:) to the end of the IP address with your port number, e.g., 127.0.0.1:420.
