The Network Software Installer v.1.4 process correctly handles the installation of AppleTalk v58.1 and related software components on Macintosh 840AVs and Centris 660AVs.. Restrictions: ============= You must use the Installer application (version 3.4.3) included on this floppy disk. Any other version of the Installer application will not perform a correct installation for this product. Note that the "NSI International Files" folder is not empty; it contains invisible files necessary for the installation. This software should not be installed with AppleTalk Internet Router and AppleShare client on a Macintosh with only 1 Megabyte of memory. If this release of the Network Software Installer is being used in conjunction with an Apple Internet Router v. 3.0 Installer, Router 3.0 _must_ be installed first. This will ensure that the Router installation does not overwrite the newer AppleTalk software contained on NSI 1.4. Support for Macintosh Quadra 840AV or Centris 660AV computers. Network Cdev 3.0.2 ================== Fixes a bug where the Network Control Panel 3.0.1 would forget the Router Setup. Fixes a bug where the Network Control Panel 3.0.1 with more than 6 adevs would not select an adev even though it was clicked on. Fixes a bug where the Network Control Panel 3.0.1 with less than 3 adevs would allow a blank cell to be selected. Network Cdev gets installed whenever AppleTalk is installed. EtherTalk and TokenTalk version 2.5.4 ===================================== Fixes a bug in EtherTalk/TokenTalk v2.5.2. The Address Mapping Table (AMT) in NSI 1.3.3 was not aging its entries and removing them after 60 seconds. Token Ring driver version 2.5.2 ===================================== Fixes a bug in TokenTalk v2.5.1. The driver was not handling case where packets completed "out of sequence" during transmits on extremely busy networks. This would cause Token Ring cards to "hang" occasionally. Ethernet LC and Macintosh Quadra 700/900/950/800, Centris 610/650 version 1.0.7 =============================================================================== Improved code to move data to/from the cards to increase performance of enet drivers. The SNMP LapDot3Statistics were not checking all the possible locations that an error could occur.
