Name: Apple Fax Cover Pages
Version: 1.2
Released: February 24, 1997
Requires: US Apple Telecom 3.0, 3.0.3, or 3.1
Description:
Contains updated Sample Cover Page and Standard Cover Page
documents which have both the <Recipient Fax Number> and
<Recipient Voice Number> fields removed to prevent these
numbers from appearing on a faxed cover page.

This software consists of a self-extracting archive. To use,
download it to your hard drive and then double-click it to
decompress the software.

From the Read Me included with this software:

The new update for Apple Telecom software 3.1 includes 2 new
cover pages in Apple Fax format called:

- Sample Cover Page
- Standard Cover Page

You will find these cover pages inside the "Cover Pages"
disk or disk image.

What the updated Cover Pages provide

If you used a calling card or credit card to send a fax with
Apple Telecom software 3.0, 3.0.3, or 3.1, the card number
and PIN appeared on the fax cover page along with the
recipient's fax number in the <Recipient Fax Number> field.
It was necessary to delete the <Recipient Fax Number> field
from the cover page in order to use it to send a fax.

The updated Sample Cover Page and Standard Cover Page
documents have both the <Recipient Fax Number> and
<Recipient Voice Number> fields removed to prevent these
numbers from appearing on a faxed cover page.

Note: If you add one or both of these fields back into
either of these cover pages--or if you create a new cover
page using either of these fields--the card and PIN number
will again appear in the faxed cover page.
