Name: Apple Network Assistant Updater

Version: 3.0.1

Released: February 4, 1998

Requires: Apple Network Assistant 3.0

Description:
Network Assistant 3.0.1 fixes a problem some users may have had
with the Copy Hard Disk command whereby Network Assistant copies
the System Folder from the disk that holds the Network Assistant
application even though you may have designated a different hard
disk. You can only use the Network Assistant 3.0.1 to update
Network Assistant 3.0. You cannot use it to update Apple Network
Assistant 3.0 Demo. Network Assistant 3.0.1 replaces the Network
Assistant Startup extension. You need to install the new Network
Assistant Startup extension on your administrator workstations
and all the user workstations that you manage using Network
Assistant. You do not need to update the Network Assistant
application or the Network Assistant Security application. Please
refer to the Read Me file included with with this software for
complete details.

Instructions:
This software consists of a Disk Copy NDIF (New Disk Image
Format) compressed image, which requires Disk Copy 6.1 or
later to use. Download this software to your hard drive and
then double-click it to use it. Disk Copy is available in
the Utilities folder.

Disk Copy 6.1 (or later) or Disk Image Mounter 2.1 (or
later) from Apple are the recommended applications to access
all disk images released by Apple and are the only supported
applications to access NDIF disk images.

Known Issues

There are two known issues with Network Assistant 3.0 and 3.0.1
and Mac OS 8.0 and 8.1:

1. You cant do disk verification reports of HFS+ formatted hard
disks with Network Assistant 3.0 or 3.0.1.

2. When you drag an item from a Network Assistant report to your
hard disk, the Copy Items dialog reappears after the copy is
completed. Clicking Cancel will dismiss this duplicate dialog
box.
