Dear User,
"The Debugger" now ships on a CD-ROM, and includes an multimedia tutorial.

I have moved most of the paper (manuals, É) onto the CD-ROM as Adobe Acrobatª documents.  Other Documents are in SimpleText (or TeachText) format.
The CD-ROM also contains a version of Acrobat Reader that you can install.
Be aware that it does NOT have a fast search feature like that in Acrobatª Exchange.

Installation:
Copy the folder Ô2/24/96 Debugger filesÕ to your boot volume and open it up.
If you have MPW (all Metrowerks owners do), then double-click on the "InstallÊDebugger (MPW)" script file and execute according to the instructions
otherwise read "Debugger Tech Note #0" and follow the directions in it.
DTN #0 is in the "Debugger Tech Notes" file in the Documentation folder.
If you receive a floppy disk with your version of TheÊDebugger, then any info on it will override that on the CD-ROM.

Paranoia:
The folder ÔParanoiaÕ contains a backup copy of the folder Ô2/24/96ÊDebugger filesÕ as a Ô.seaÕ file in case one of the files on the CD-ROM was corrupted in the mastering process.  It also contains the 2/18/96 version of my Debugger.

Using the Manuals:
Unpack and install Adobe Acrobatªto read and or print the manuals.

OpenDoc & SOM:
As of 2/24/95 when this was written SomObjectsªfor the Macintosh OS version 2.0.8 was not available.  You need it to view SOM objects correctly inside my Debugger.
It should be available on the Apple servers ( http://www.devtools.apple.com ) after March 5, 1996 or so.

Running the Tutorials:
The Tutorial is built as a Hypercard V2.3 Application so just double click on it.
It requires System 7.0 or later, QuickTime 1.6 or later and Sound Mgr 3.0.
It requires 3 Meg of RAM to run.
The  New Features Ô96Õ Tutorial contains a program to exercise the Soft MMU feature.
